A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her. Remain positive no matter WHAT life throws at you, because it will have a significant impact on the way things turn out. Mental health is just as important as physical! #FBF to when my dreams weren’t diluted by life’s trials + my idealistic perspective.
This week I’ve been praying specifically about releasing things that no longer serve me. That includes my bad habits. HATE, ANGER + RESENTMENT are a few of them.
It’s hard to open up the emotional wounds, take the poison out and heal.
Life become easier when you learn to embrace your own life story + restate your personal narrative.
I’m learning to forgive those who’ve wronged me, not because they deserve to be forgiven, but because I love myself so much more + I won’t keep paying for the injustice. #BreeSaidIt
I am here to live, be happy + be love. #Affirmation
What on earth are you here for?

Aren’t you tired of hearing yourself (and worse, *feeling* yourself) stress over the same things? Work, money, relationships (or hey - maybe a lack thereof on all of the above).
How many times are you going to tell yourself the same stories? Doesn’t it get boring? Doesn’t it feel shitty? How many years are you going to let this go on for? (Because it probably *has* been years at this point, right?)
You’re letting your sob story happen TO you...and you’re way better than that.
Your stories are never going to change until you decide to make some massive shifts. Saying you want to change in the future, saying you’ll “fix it” soon, or “think about it later"… they’re all good intentions, but unless it’s paired with action? Back to square 1 we go, my loves.
Your relationships to yourself, to money, to others, to work - something HAS to start working differently if you want to experience actual change. You have to buckle down, get through the gross, nitty-gritty, scary beginning part, and decide to MOVE the eff through it.
I get it - big shifts are scary. They’re not comfortable. But I’d take short-term discomfort over a lifetime of unease and anxiety any day.
Ask yourself: what’s one thing you can do TODAY that’s simple, effective, and can get the momentum going for change? Can you...
Call a financial advisor?
Find a workshop to teach you a new skill?
Be bold and meet a new friend?
Hire a coach to keep you accountable?
Think about it.

QOTD: “None of us are getting out of here alive so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Eat the delicious food 🥘Walk in the sunshine 🌞 Jump in the ocean 🌊 Say the truth that you are carrying in your heart like a hidden treasure 💓 Be silly 😜 Be kind 😊 Be weird 🤓 There’s no time for anything else 🎲”
“I basically made them hire me! I love that I get the opportunity to make a difference here. There are not a lot of jobs that you get to go home feeling good at the end of the day.” - Daralyn, Healthcare Aide
I am obsessively grateful for my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder 😅 lol but forreallll. I never thought I would say that but it is something that I am truly grateful for. Have I always been grateful for it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I use to scream and cry and beg for it to be gone. And sometimes I still wish that I could go back and un-do so many things but when I look at the bigger picture, I know it was worth it and I wouldn’t be where I am today without all of that pain. It’s definitely a process of learning to be grateful for something that has caused us or is still causing us so much pain. I’ve overcame a lot and I still battle daily but what all of this has given me was the ability to start seeking truth for myself. And what I found was that there is an ultimate source of healing and UNCONDITIONAL love, hope, joy, and peace that you can experience even in the midst of the storm.
So today I am grateful for my battles that have caused me so much pain because it has led me to seek true freedom. It has led me to real friends who I love so darn much. When I think about y’all (you know who you are) it just makes my heart so happy, even through this pain. So thank you to my friends. And thank you Lord for your ability to take any form of brokenness and transform it.
The process is painful and you certainly do not feel grateful for it when you are enduring it, but when you finally see the purpose and all of the BEAUTY that comes from the brokenness, it makes it all worth it. So keep fighting 💪 Anybody else grateful for their battles? Share something painful that you are even a little bit grateful for ⤵︎♡
